Workshop sobre a aplicação de inteligência artificial "O Galinheiro Conectado"

O programa CREATE Your IoT Series faz parte do Internet of Things (IoT) Large Scale Pilots of the European Union (LSPs) e permite-lhe a criação das suas próprias aplicações para IoT. O CREATE Your IoT Series  é o resultado da cooperação entre os LSPs e a iniciativa STARTS - Science Techonology and the Arts do Mercado Único Digital.

Neste workshop vai aprender a criar um galinheiro muito especial! Ele é conduzido pelas suas galinhas, que dessa forma limpam e fertilizam o seu campo, deixando-o preparado para as suas plantações!

O Galinheiro Conectado é uma aplicação de inteligência artificial no campo da Internet das Coisas. A análise e a previsão de movimentos das suas galinhas dirigem o galinheiro no seu campo de cultivo. Sendo um produto inovador no campo da permacultura, o Galinheiro Conectado encontra-se num meio termo entre a criação livre de galinhas e a produção industrial.

The Connected Hennery inspira-se também na criação literária de Orwell. Revisitando a ideia de que a arte pode influenciar significativamente a vida, conceitos inscritos nas obras de Orwell como 1984 e O Triunfo dos Porcos, o Galinheiro Conectado  apresenta-se como um modelo transitório para uma outra organização socioeconómica de base tecnológica.

CREATE Your IoT Series
The Connected Hennery

The CREATE Your IoT Series is part of the Internet of Things (IoT) Large Scale Pilots of the European Union (LSPs) and it allows you to create your own IoT applications. It results from the cooperation between the LSPs and the Science Technology and Arts Initiative of the Digital Single Market of the European Union (STARTS).

In this instance of the series, The Connected Hennery, you learn how to make a very special hennery! It allows your chicken drive it around your field, clean it and get it ready for planting potatoes or what ever you fell like!

The Connected Hennery is an application of basic artificial intelligence in the field of Internet of Things. It analyses and predicts the movement of your chicken and moves along with them in your field! It is a new product for permaculture in-between industrial and free range chicken production.

The Connected Hennery is artistically inspired also in the work of George Orwell. The author of books such as 1984 and Animal Farm also believed that the arts could strongly influence real life. The Connected Hennery revisits those concepts and represents a transitional technologically enabled model of socioeconomic organization.
